wow.. beautiful hues... but seems abit under exposed to me... then the colours and shine of the tower doesnt show out. nice one though=)

Beautiful light. It looks like the Shwedagon. Isn't it amazing, I am posting Myanmar at the moment too. Perhaps we were there at the same time?

@Helen: yes it is the shwedagon. i saw your series and commented on one of your pictures. (: its really pretty isn't it? didn't get the view you got on that photo though, which was absolutely amazing by the way! i was in myanmmar last year in november on an international service learning trip and managed to grab some photos. would really love to visit the place again to go backpacking if i'm able to! (:

Beautiful shot with the gold late afternoon sunshine. Dimitrios has a good suggestion there! Using a higher number fstop (smaller aperture - lower shutter speed) , and exposing for the people (more of them), would have made the light shine more on the pinacles, and given a great sense of scale. This one can be fixed up though, its worth fixing - it's such a beautiful building :-)
